We're putting the FUN back into fundraising!
Every year Peoples Church Preschool has a fundraising campaign to advance the programs and make quality improvements to our classrooms and supplies. We look to our preschool families and the community to help us raise the additional funds needed.
Max & Erma's Fundraising (Lunch or Dinner)
September 23, 2008
Join us for our 1st Max & Erma's Dinner out on Tuesday, September 23. Print the linked flyer and bring it with you as preschool families enjoy a dinner together. 20% of the proceeds from all guest checks that day are donated back to the preschool. If you cannot make it to dinner, the preschool can still get credit if you go for lunch, just present the flyer when you pay your bill. Print the flyer and share it with co-workers. Anyone with a flyer can help. Max & Erma's is located at the Eastwood Towne Center, 2515 Lake Lansing Rd. You must present the flyer at the time you pay your bill for the preschool to get credit. Note: flyers must not be passed out at the restaurant, so please share them with family, friends and co-workers before you arrive.

TUITION REDUCTION PLANS
Families can also take advantage of 2 tuition reduction plans:
- Scrips Gift Card Purchase Program
The preschool is pleased to continue a great program to help you earn money toward your tuition. Scrip - a term that means "substitute money" - is gift certificates from national and local retailers, the same gift certificates that you would buy from the store.
How it works: Scrip participating retailers agree to sell gift certificates to the preschool at a discount. Families like yours buy the certificates at full face value (as you would if you were to buy gift certificates at stores), redeem them for full face value, and our school is given the difference as revenue. The revenue is split between the family (tuition credit) and the preschool: 90% families/10% preschool.
- Meijer Community Rewards Program
On May 1, 2007 the Meijer Community Rewards Program made some changes to the program. Check the Meijer website for the new requirements.
Meijer Community Rewards is a very simple way to reduce your tuition costs. Simply go to www.meijer.com/rewards and sign up for a Meijer guest card or Meijer credit card, or fill out an application and mail it to Meijer. The preschool's code is 747747. When you purchase items at Meijer, scan your card before you pay for your merchandise and you will automatically be credited a percentage of your total sales. If you have any further questions about this program, feel free to contact the preschool office.
OTHER FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS:
In addition to the above fundraising events, we also participate in:
Throughout the year flyers are placed in the children's preschool folders for parents and relatives to purchase Scholastic Books for their families. When a preschool family places a Scholastic order the preschool receives free books to use to replace and add books to our classroom bookshelves.
- Campbell Soup Labels for Education Program
Did you know? The preschool collects labels and bottle caps that can be exchanged for points that will purchase fun classroom equipment. You may deposit labels & caps in the receptacles located in the preschool entry hall or in the church hall outside the Robertson Room (north entrance).
Important things to know:
- It's not just Campbell's! It's also Pepperidge Farm, V8, Prego, Swanson and Franco American. See the side of the receptacle for a complete list.
- We don't need the whole label-just the UPC code or box top portion of the label.
- We cannot use Box Tops for Education.
Thank you to all of our families and friends who participate in our important FUN raising programs. Your purchases and support are a cornerstone to continuing our award winning program and make our preschool the wonderful environment that it is for our children.
