FUN Raising

We're putting the FUN back into fundraising!

Every year Peoples Church Preschool supports various fundraising campaigns to advance the program and make quality improvements to our classrooms and outdoor learning environment. We look to our preschool families and the community to help us raise the additional funds needed.

This year's fun-raising campaign is called Building Our Future.

Help us by sharing this fundraising campaign with your friends, colleagues and family. There will be opportunities for the remainder of the school year in which you can participate. With your help, these projects will help us reach our goal.

Your contribution is tax-deductible! Upon request, Peoples Church Preschool will provide you with a receipt to demonstrate your gift as a tax deductible donation.

Silent Auction

Our annual silent auction raises funds for school events and improvements. Donations are accepted at any time. Please consider donating a tax-deductible item for auction! Contact the preschool at 517-332-2885 for more information.

TerraCycle

Peoples Church Preschool participates in the TerraCycle system, which supports many earth friendly goals - including recycling, sustainabily, and upcycling.

Peoples Church Preschool earns 1 cent per wrapper mailed to the program. The school also donates credits twice a year to have trees planted in an American forest through the through Arbor Day Foundation.

Upcycling Items (Note: All containers must be cleaned prior to drop off. Thanks!)

• All candy wrappers
• All juice pouches (no straws please and no juice boxes)
• All Kraft packaging (shredded cheese, cheese stick wrappers, etc.)
• All nutrition bar/energy bar wrappers
• All spead containers (margarine, cottage cheese, etc.)
• All stackable yogurt containers (large and small, can not have a lip or taper at top)
• Aveeno Beauty Product Containers
• Bear Naked Products
• Cookie wrappers (foil-lined)
• Frito Lay Chip Bags (Fritos, Doritos, Lays)
• Gum boxes
• Huggies Diaper plastic wrapping (not other brands)
• Lunch Kits (the plastic bottom of a lunchable for example)
• Old cell phones
• Sprout pouches
• Starbucks bags
• Tape rolls (the plastic circle that is left behind once the tape is gone)
• Writing instrument (empty pens, sharpies and highlighters)

Scholastic Book Sales

Each month the preschool will share with parents the ordering deadline so that parents and relatives can purchase Scholastic Books on-line for their families. Each time a preschool family places a Scholastic order, the preschool receives free books to use to replace and add books to our classroom bookshelves. THANKS!

Campbell Soup Labels for Education Program

Did you know? The preschool collects UPC codes that can be exchanged for points that will purchase fun classroom equipment. You may deposit UPC codes in the receptacles located in the preschool entry hall or in the church hall outside the Robertson Room (north entrance).
Important things to know:

• It's not just Campbell's! It's also Pepperidge Farm, V8, Prego, Swanson and Franco American. See the side of the receptacle for a complete list.
• We don't need the whole label-just the UPC code or box top portion of the label.
• We cannot use Box Tops for Education.
